I’m Thankful for iPhones

Without them, we wouldn’t have great pictures of the year our turkey was too big for the roaster and had to be secured with duct tape!

Hope you all have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Your duct-taped roaster is too funny! Does it cook turkey well? I've never tried it that way.

That is amazing. And makes me thoroughly hungry. (You're shocked by that, huh?)

I think you should be thankful for duct tape.
That shit makes the world go round.

Yes it does. I didn't actually realize the many uses until I married a duct tape genius. He didn't do the turkey that year, but he has saved many a day with his knowledge of the art of duct taping.

We always use the roaster. It cooks faster and frees up the oven for the myriad of sides we can't seem to live without!

We had a lot of people that year so the turkey was huge…and delicious.

I hope you got your fill this year. A day of eating, while pregnant, is one of the most enjoyable things I've ever experienced.

I need to know what on earth that big roaster thingie is that you cooked your bird in! It looks pretty cool and sort of vintage (I'm totally spaced out when it comes to cooking gadgets). I bet it was delicious. (-:

Forget the gravy, you don't need it.  This is already dripping in awesomesauce.

Yep, we totally had to duct tape the roaster to keep the lid on. It was funny AND delicious.

It was just an older roaster. I have a newer, larger one so we haven't had to tape another turkey in. We really only use it on Thanksgiving, but it's totally worth having it because it frees up the oven for side dishes. You can buy them anywhere.
