Five Days

I have the next five days off.

Five days to catch up on laundry and clean the bathrooms.

Five days to redeem myself from last week’s dinners.

Five days of parks, parties, sleepovers, and movie nights.

Five days of bath time giggles and goodnight books.

Five days to snuggle my kids in the morning and at bedtime.

Five days to remind myself why I spend my nights with other people’s families.

Hah I imagine by the fifth day you’ll be ready to go back to work just to get a break! Seriously though, enjoy!

      You are so right!

Maybe on Monday I’ll just spend the entire day catching up with my bloggies!

Awwww. Looking at the bright side — some moms don’t get to enjoy their kids for that long and you will. 🙂

Have fun! Enjoy them as much as you can.

I used to work a regular 9-5 schedule, so I really do appreciate how much time I get with them now. Usually, I’m only off for a day or two so having a large chunk of time is nice.

Because you’re called to do it. It’s your gift. 🙂 And we appreciate it.

Thank you. I really love what I do, it just sometimes makes me feel burned out when it comes to the whole “caring” stuff. And that’s sort of important in regards to motherhood. 🙂

It was nice. We didn’t have anything planned so I got to just spend time at home with the family…doing mommy/wife things!
